2007 International Secondary Schools Digital Design Challenge

Secondary schools students worldwide are invited to stretch the boundaries of their imagination by conceptualising, modelling and generating a design using any software. Given a design brief that addresses real current issues, students are assessed on the development and realisation of a solution within a specified time frame. Students participate externally at their own school and the design briefs are forwarded to a teacher on the day of the Challenge - 19 July in 2007.

Now in its 9th year, the Challenge has eight categories - graphic design (open and years 8-10), three-dimensional design (open and years 8-10), animation (open and years 8-10), architectural design and web page design (open to all year levels).

Evaluation is based on how students articulate and communication their ideas based on industry expectations and requirements.

The web site has winners and design briefs from previous years, and is a great opportunity for students to explore their capabilities.
